Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ('Terms') govern your access to and use of the botin platform, including the web application, API services, and browser extensions ('Service'), developed and operated by AC Dev (CNPJ 42.180.462/0001-88). By using the Service, you expressly agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance & Eligibility
The Service is intended exclusively for individuals who are at least 18 years old with full legal capacity to enter into binding agreements and apply for jobs. Access is authenticated via Google OAuth, and you are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your accounts and devices.
2. Responsible Automation & Third-Party Platforms
botin functions as a local productivity tool that assists in entering candidate data into job application forms. You acknowledge and agree that: (a) Third-party platforms (including LinkedIn) maintain their own terms of service which may restrict or prohibit automated tools; (b) botin implements defensive hard caps (such as AUTOPILOT_HARD_CAP) and randomized intervals to mitigate risk, but provides no guarantee against platform restrictions; (c) You assume full responsibility for using automation features (including Autopilot and Recruiter Outreach) on your third-party accounts, and expressly release AC Dev from any liability regarding account restrictions, warnings, suspensions, or bans imposed by third-party platforms.
3. Data Accuracy & AI Assistance
You are solely and exclusively responsible for the truthfulness, accuracy, and legality of all information contained in your resume, Q&A Bank, and submitted applications. Answers suggested by AI models or inference rules (such as Turbo Mode) constitute suggestions only. You must review responses prior to submission or configure Autopilot parameters responsibly. AC Dev is not liable for incorrect answers, recruitment rejections, or misrepresentations submitted on your behalf.
4. Plans, Subscriptions & Billing
botin offers Pro access for a limited time through coupons — including a welcome coupon granted to every new account, whose clock starts the first time a botin feature is used through the extension — and a paid monthly Pro subscription. Payments are securely processed by Stripe Inc. Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled by the user via the self-service billing portal. Retroactive refunds are not provided for partially used billing cycles, except where mandatory under applicable consumer protection law.
5. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in and to the botin software, source code, logos, trademarks, documentation, and extensions belong exclusively to AC Dev. You retain full ownership of your resume content and personal data.
6. Termination & Account Deletion
You may terminate your account at any time through your Profile settings, which will cancel your Stripe subscription and delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. AC Dev reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately, without prior notice, in cases of fraudulent activity, reverse engineering, infrastructure abuse, or violation of these Terms.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided 'as is' and 'as available'. We make no warranties that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor do we guarantee job interviews, offers, or employment outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AC Dev shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of São Luís, State of Maranhão, Brazil.
